Ayo & Teo Are Looking for 'The Sauce' on Quibi

Even though it feels like the dance world has come to a standstill there are a few bright spots to keep supporting in these unprecedented times. Many shows, including Season 4 of World of Dance, were completed before Hollywood stopped production.

More: The Major Ways Debbie Allen Inspired Chloe & Maud Arnold One of those shows is The Sauce from the brand-new mobile streaming platform, Quibi. Dance Dish has the inside scoop and a sneak peek of the show — Is that Kida we spot in the trailer? — plus all of the details you need to know.

1. Premiere date: The Sauce is one of the launch shows for the network. Quibi premieres on April 6 and so does The Sauce. 2. Stars: Atlanta-based sensations and brothers , Ayo & Teo, host the dance competition shows. The Sauce also has some pop-star muscle with Usher executive producing and judging the show.

“Dance continues to drive much of our popular culture in increasingly more meaningful ways, and I can’t wait to help these young dancers express their extraordinary talent and vision,” Usher said in a press release. “I’m excited to be working with Quibi and The FRONT, who share my vision for cutting-edge, culture-forward content and have created an innovative platform to recognize incredibly gifted dancers from across the nation.”

3. Premise: The brothers travel the U.S. to discover dance talent in different cities. Each location provides a fresh take on dance culture. The selected talent then battles head-to-head for the ultimate $25,000 prize. 4. Cost: Quibi will cost $4.99 a month with ads, and $7.99 a month without ads. The platform is offering a great deal right now — get a 90-day free trial if you sign up before April 20.

5. More dance shows: The Sauce isn't the only dance show coming from Quibi. Floored, with supervising choreographer Brian Friedman, will also launch later in the spring.
