Updated Sept. 8:
Good Morning America confirmed the Dancing With the Stars Season 29 celebrity reveal date as Wednesday, Sept. 2, but the sleuths are working overtime to find out the cast as soon as possible. With 15 pros this season, most of whom have revealed that they will be paired with a celebrity, there are 15 star slots to fill.
If DWTS is following Strictly Come Dancing's COVID-19 protocols, viewers will likely not see any group numbers this season. That allows for ample time to feature 15 couples versus the usual 13 couples in the fall season.
As of Sunday, Aug. 30, eleven celebs are confirmed for Season 29. ABC stated that the pairings of the couples will be revealed on premiere night, Monday, Sept. 14.
Here are the confirmed celebrities so far:
1. Kaitlyn Bristowe:
Partner: Artem Chigvintsev
Kaitlyn is the third Bachelorette contestant to appear on the show, following in the footsteps of Season 1's Trista Sutter and Season 28's Mirrorball Trophy winner, Hannah Brown. Her participation was revealed by ABC in June.
2. AJ McLean:
Partner: Cheryl Burke
AJ is the second Backstreet Boy to appear on the show after Nick Carter danced with Sharna Burgess to second place in Season 21. His participation on Season 29 was confirmed by ET, and was then revealed on GMA on Aug. 27.

3. Monica Aldama:
Partner: Val Chmerkovskiy
Monica Aldama from Netflix's Cheer fame has been busy following people from Dancing With the Stars on Instagram and with good reason — she was spotted by paparazzi leaving the DWTS studio with Val Chmerkovskiy last Friday.
4. Anne Heche:
Partner: Keo Motsepe
The film and TV actress was confirmed on Saturday, Aug. 29 by Us Weekly.
She's been in the news recently for her Mr. Warburton cover story, which included some quotes about her ex-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres.
5. Jesse Metcalfe:
Partner: Sharna Burgess
Us Weekly also confirmed Jesse Metcalfe's participation in Season 29. He spans a couple of TV and movie generations, thanks to his work in Desperate Housewives, John Tucker Must Die, Chesapeake Shores and Dallas. With Sharna Burgess guiding him on the ballroom floor, this will be one hot couple.
6. Vernon Davis:
Partner: Peta Murgatroyd
It's not an official TV season unless you have an NFL player in the mix. Vernon Davis checks that box this season. He played with San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and the Washington Football Team. Us Weekly also confirmed this casting. This will be Peta Murgatroyd's fifth athlete after Season 13's Metta World Peace, Season 14's winner Donald Driver, Season 20's Michael Sam and Season 28's Lamar Odom.
7. Chrishell Stause:
Partner: Gleb Savchenko
The worst-kept secret this season was this summer's "It Girl," Chrishell Stause. The drama behind her divorce to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley was all the buzz on Season 3 of Netflix's Selling Sunset. This marks the second contestant from a Netflix reality show in Season 29. Just Jared confirmed her participation after she was seen leaving the studio with pro Gleb Savchenko.
8. Skai Jackson:
Partner: Alan Bersten
Here's a name no one was expecting, but she's a great choice for DWTS — Skai Jackson! She fits perfectly into the Disney Channel slot and she's an ABC talent. Jackson has had an incredible career, thanks to Jessie and Bunk'd. Just Jared confirmed the information and spotted her at the studio at the same time as last year's Mirrorball Trophy winner, Alan Bersten.
9. Nelly:
Partner: Daniella Karagach
It's getting hot in here because Nelly is joining the cast. How about that? He's a terrific first partner for Daniella Karagach. Nelly has never performed on DWTS (surprising!), but we have heard "Hot in Herre" more than once on the show. Just last season, Cheryl performed a Salsa with partner Ray Lewis.
10. Jeannie Mai:
Partner: Brandon Armstrong
There have been a lot of articles talking about Jeannie Mai's fit physique. Was she prepping all summer for DWTS? With Brandon Armstrong at her side, this should be a fantastic season for The Real host.
11. Carole Baskin:
Partner: Pasha Pashkov
The first few weeks of lockdown, Netflix's Tiger King was all of the rage. Carole Baskin emerged as an early rumor to do Season 29 and here she is! They better deliver an "Eye of the Tiger" Cha-Cha Week 1 or we will be disappointed.
12. Justina Machado
Partner: Sasha Farber
Justina Machado from One Day At A Time! It's a reminder that you should be watching this show. If she sticks around into October, she will be competing against herself in ratings. CBS will be airing two episodes from Season 4 on Mondays on Oct. 12, 19 and 26.
13. Nev Schulman
Partner: Jenna Johnson
Nev Schulman is known for his MTV show, Catfish, but he's also familiar with the dance world. He studied dance for five years and he was a dance photographer early in his career — the focus of his work was the contemporary ballet community in New York.
14. Charles Oakley
Partner: Emma Slater
If you watched The Last Dance earlier this year, you are very familiar with former NBA player Charles Oakley. He played alongside Michael Jordan during his early Chicago Bulls years. Can he take that basketball magic to the ballroom?
15. Johnny Weir:
Partner: Britt Stewart
There is never a dull moment with two-time Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir. This is a casting that makes you think... what took them so long? We can probably thank COVID-19 for allowing this to happen since Weir isn't traveling for his NBC Sports job right now.
